Deadline as motivator
I love deadlines, and it’s a shame that I don’t have too many of them in my life anymore.
Specifically, I’m talking about deadlines tied to tangible, significant, and shippable products. I could tell myself that I have to write a blog post by 2pm today, but chances are I probably won’t care enough, since the only thing motivating me in such a case would be my own ego.
