Zoom Well, I sure am glad that I’m taking the 16-hour route tonight than the 18-hour route from this morning. It’ll make travelling on a cramped bus just that much easier, and might even take my mind off the fact that if I had bothered to check for flights instead of assuming everything was expensive, I could’ve done this same journey in only an hour and a half for only $100 more. Highlights of this fantastic bus voyage: no cell service (not even EDGE!) for most of the first nine hours of the journey layovers in marvellous destinations you’ve never heard of such as Nelson, Salmo, Creston, and Cranbrook 25 minutes for breakfast in Fort MacLeod (at 5 in the morning!) Google Maps says it should only take 12 hours for this ridiculous route, but apparently buses are slow. Who would have guessed? Anyway. I should go back to packing. See y’all tomorrow afternoon in Edmonton.
