The Beatles — “Got to Get You Into My Life”

Despite hearing this song at least three times daily, the horns still manage to be amazing.

They Might Be Giants — “We Live In A Dump” (Demo)

Unlike much of my Giants collection, this track was actually self-discovered; four years ago, during the summer, I called into the now-defunct TMBG Dial-A-Song using Skype, and recorded this song.

Unbeknownst to me at the time, it would be the last song ever played on the service before its death.

Anyway. Enjoy.

They Might Be Giants — “Caroline, No”

Great Beach Boys cover by the TMBG Mini-Brass. Worth a play, or two, or five already for me tonight.

Lady Gaga — “Bad Romance” orchestral version (via musical genius Walt Ribeiro)

Since Madeline enjoyed this week’s earlier symphonic takes on Gaga, here’s an early Christmas present for her. Merry Christmas, Mads.

Lady Gaga — “LoveGame” orchestral version (via random Tumblr user hello-amorous-congress-stick)

Vis-à-vis this week’s earlier journey to the Haus of Gaga, I came across this gem while cruising the Tumblr. Enjoy.

Prisencolinensinainciusol (via Low, Slabs, and Fraser, but presented here in YouTube because given the chance I would definitely have watched this on my informationPhone)

Here’s my recommended viewing instructions: let your brain just watch and soak it in and puzzle over it for the first watch. Then read the Wikipedia article for that “ahh!” moment.

Then watch it over and over again because it’s a damn catchy song.

Under the Fuzzy Green Hat is the curious web log of Lucas Wagner, a guy who probably has better things to do than post here all day.
